ABOUT US

Our first Golden Retriever joined us in 1978 when we were building our home, he was joined 5 years later by Emma and the story began. Our show career began in 1993 and since then we have been attending shows throughout Ireland and when possible in England and Scotland.

From the beginning Emma has been active in both the Kennel Club and Irish Kennel Junior Handling organisations. She has enjoyed this aspect of the show scene and has been fortunate in having been asked by the Young Kennel Club to take part in an Outward Bound Course held in the Lake District. She has also worked on the YKC stand at Crufts for a number of years. The friendships made during this time are valued and enduring.

Abinvale is a small kennel based close to the beautiful North Antrim coast where our dogs enjoys frequent visits to the long sandy beaches for fun and enjoyment of both dogs and humans.
