Welcome to Abinvale Golden Retrievers.

Our kennel is based close to Northern Ireland's picturesque North Antrim coast where our Golden Retrievers enjoy frequent visits to the long sandy beaches and scenic coastal walks.

We are very proud of our dogs achievements in the show ring but first and foremost they are our family pets.

We only breed occasionally with special care being taken to ensure that any puppies going to a new home are placed in a caring, loving environment where they can become a part of the family and enjoy a similar lifestyle to the ones that stay with us at Abinvale.

At Portadown Canine Club under judge Mrs P. Beisel McIlwaine Abinvale The Aviator won Junior Dog, GS, BOB and Group 4. His litter sister, Abinvale Mystic River won Junior Bitch and the GS. Ir Sh Ch Abinvale Piratella won Chmapion Bitch and the Res GS and Ir sh Ch Gunhills Venus in Bluejeans over Abinvale won Veteran Bitch.

At the All Ireland Golden Retriever Club AGM Ir Sh Ch Abinvale Piratella was confirmed aS TOP WINNING GOLDEN RETRIEVER IN IRELANDand together with her brother, Denver and sisters Tegan and Kayla helped their mum Sophie Gunhills Blue Secret at Abinvale to become TOP BROOD BITCH.

At the IKC National Show under judge Mr P. Muntean, Ir Sh Ch Abinvale Piratella won Champion Bitch, the Green Star and BOB. She was supported by Abinvale The Aviator who was 2nd in Junior Dog, Abinvale Mystic River who won Junior Bitch and Ir Sh Ch Gunhills Venus in Bluejeans over Abinvale ShCM who won Veteran Bitch.

At the IKC International Show under judge Mrs B. Banbury, Ir Sh Ch Abinvale Piratella won Champion Bitch, Green Star and CACIB. This was Darci's 4th CACIB and she has therefore gained her International Beauty Champion Title. She was supported by Abinvale The Aviator who was 2nd in Junior Dog, Abinvale Mystic River who won Junior Bitch and Ir Sh Ch Gunhills Venus in Bluejeans over Abinvale ShCM who won Veteran Bitch.

MUNSTER CIRCUIT 2011

The highlight of our week was when Ir Sh Ch Abinvale Piratella won the Bitch Green Star and BIS at the AIGRC Championship Show under Mr A. Stepinski. Abinvale The Aviator was awarded Res Dog Green Star and Best Junior in Show as well.

At Killarney and District under Mrs M. O'Gorman Ir Sh Ch Abinvale Piratella was again Bitch Green Star and BOB and Abinvale The Aviator Res Dog Green Star.

 

Emma & Tyler
